An emotional little poem I wrote recently... I'm actually pretty happy with it.
The armies of lonely tyranny
Trying to swallow me whole
My confidence is my weapon, sharp like a blade
But the tip is dulled by shields of pity
This labyrinth of echoes repeats my words
Whenever I speak them aloud, weakening me
Then the soldiers of my emotions surround me
I fall victim to the claws of loneliness
