after he's gone.
September
Listen closely and you will hear
My silent cries, my hidden fear
Look at me with seeing eyes
My heart is breaking, I'm filled with lies

You left for good and now I'm alone
I can't have fun, I just stay at home
I'm missing you more each day
I'm glad to see them finally go away

October
Thoughts of you hide all day
They come out at night to thrash and play
You're haunting me, I can't seem to sleep
I try not to think about you, but you run too deep

Maybe this will be over today
I tried to write you, but didn't know what to say
I can't find the words to describe how I feel
I keep thinking it's a dream, I'm hoping it's not real

November
Who are you now, do you think of me
I hope you do, it's my secret plea
I guess it doesn't matter, it's been so long
All i have left of you is a flower and a song

I suppose I'm mostly over you
That's the best thing that I could do
I hope your life is good and you reach for the sky
Well I guess that's it; farewell, goodbye
