This poem describes my feelings after the death of my mother-in-law.
I thought; I had more time,
to express my love for you.
Time waits for no one,
and I’ve been such a fool.
They say that life goes on;
But how could this be?
When your voice and your smile is,
no longer here with me.

Mama can you hear me?
I’ll miss you every day
Your nurturing spirit will live on,
In all my memories.
Mama can you hear me?
I thought, I had a clue;
But, I neglected to confirm that,
I - Love - You.
