A poem about the importance of a social drink.
Sitting over coffee,
We found the world in grief.
The table posed just Eve and me,
Parted by the leaf.
The air was moist, yet soft.
Conversation light.
When in subject chosen oft,
We stumbled upon our plight.
But world still round and coffee good,
We ordered another cup.
On the complication, forgotten now,
We'd simply given up.
