New love, enduring love
My thoughts turn to you
Mind starts to dream
Thoughts of trees
Of a clear running stream
A soft gentle breeze

I see you
By the lake on a boulder
Gazing into space
My head on your shoulder
Never leave this place

You and I
Together at last
Close our eyes
Forget the past
Sunset skies

I look
On the pool surface
To see
The two of us
Looking back at me
