Death is inevitable, we are all born to suffer the same fate. Make the best of life !
As I sat by your bedside, the angels were crying.
Their tears mingled with mine, as I watched you dying.

So often you've told me, "you have to be strong"!
But what do I do, when my whole world is gone?

With your last dying breath, you whispered my name.
Now that you're gone, the memories remain.

You were brave untill the end, my foundation of stone.
Here at your grave side, I feel so alone.

I know that with time, the tear stains will dry.
But I still find myself, asking God "why"?

The light of my life, was taken away.
Like the heat from the sun, on a cold winters day.

Your smile still haunts me, your loving embrace.
Reflections of yesterday, a better time and place.

I must say goodbye now, it's what you would want me to do.
But my favorite memories, will always be of you!
