MOTHER WE LOVE YOU

The day I took you to the bus station, and waved to you.

I didn't realize that would be the last time, I just never knew.

With one post card and a talk on the phone.

At the sound of the tone you were gone.

That was the last time we heard from you at all.

There have been several fall, winters, springs, and summers, and still no calls.

We want you to be happy wherever you are, or with whom you may be.

If you where a child we could find you through a missing person A.P.B.

But you are grown and with no luck we tried Unsolved Mysteries.

We put out fliers at truck stops, and a story on the News 8 series.

Mother we love you and hold you in our hearts.

The picture of you in our mind is never on stop, but always on start.

Mother we love you.
