Something about how you can't be in love with certain peple, I guess.
Wide awake inside a day dream where I took my life away
I wanted to be better but I can't wish away the shame
And what is left to say when there is nothing left to do?
Where the memories are long dead and there's nothing left but you

I'd leave it all behind if I had a place to go
But now that you are dead and gone I guess we'll never know
And I'll be right there waving good-bye from the side lines
Waving good-bye while I'm blind to the signs
Say good-bye to everything while I think of what its like to die

I know that what I say may never be what I do
But I can't stand to face the fact
To see someone standing next to you
With you smiling while I'm dying

I don't want to feel this way but the metal calls my name
With a razor in my arm, I know that I am still the same
And that nothing has really changed
I'm still in love with the way it feels to see this seeping from my veins
