Frozen

I want to say how much I love you,
But I am unable to speak.
When all I want is to hold you,
I find that now Im too weak.

I yearn to open my eyes
So I could look upon your face.
As much I seem to try
My eyes are locked in place.

I want to feel your warmth again
And to feel you close to me.
Yet my body is completely frozen.
I cant seem to break free.

I ache to hear you say my name.
I strive to remember your voice.
But I could feel my memories fade away
Its like I have no choice.

I search deep within my mind
To try to see your face.
But as soon as I have you in my grasp, you vanish
And darkness fills that space.

My mind shuts down and my heart stops beating
My tears are unseen as I cry.
While you cradle me in your arms,
Surrounded by my blood
Weeping as you watch me die.
