A farewell to A woman
I don't miss the comforts of you
No longer will I long for you kiss
or any other things I always miss
I've reached the edge of something new

The thoughts of us apart
and the sweet sound of your name
no longer bring me pain
You are now free from this heart

I'll nevermore think on the women we used to be
sitting in the backseat of your cavalier
clinging on to the chance for us to be near
Non-existant is the world built for you and me

I'm running into a dark room
but I don't long for your face
to appear in this confusing place
In my head you will never loom

I'm letting go of what was
This is my resignation.
