Interracial Love
White to White not beauty to me
desire unhindered by the shades that I see

Color of deep chocolate brown
the hue of lust I have found

Southern traditions I'll offend
rules only created to bend

My lifestyle marked by stares
brilliantly lit by our dares

Sensual lust like day to night
clashing colors made bright

Pink patches on body parts
Similarities marked in hearts

Though our skins contradict
Though our pasts contradict

Our present is just this
In our future to reminisce

An ode to my brown lover
I'll play without cover

Shame devoured by trust
Love has made this Just

Black and White edges
Yet inside a certain message

Love is not so trite
as what the world sees as right
