This one's about a vampire. I hope you would've guessed that by now.
Something about him made me wary, afraid.
There was a cold shaft between us, but our hearts refused to surrender to a wedge.
I didn't understand him, just as he was confused by me.
I wondered what could lie behind those, beautiful black eyes,
I saw something there, an emotion unexplained played across his features like a shy child,
Love, maybe. Hatred, no.
Hunger. A devided hunger, between my flesh and my FLESH.
"Ezabel" he speaks the words with a smooth impossible voice, his fangs flash.
Vampire.
How could I not see? How could I not hear? Why am I not running and screaming?
Why do I feel no different?
Somewhere deep inside, I know I am afraid, but for right now the surface is in control.
And the surface is in love... with a vampire.
"Ezabel" His voice shatters all walls, stone and glass alike.
I stroke his cold, pale face,
And he leans down and kisses the base of my neck.
A kiss of death?
I think not.
