A poem about the passions of Love

Passions of Paradise

Darkness engulfs our vision,
But still our hands roam.
My heartbeat quickens,
As the fires of passion burns brightly.
You brush your fingertips,
Cascading them along my face,
Brushing the velvet skin.
I feel your eyes burn a hole into mine,
Sensing the heat of our upcoming tryst.
You begin to kiss my parted lips as
The fire burns more fiercely.
The ecstacy builds; and is peaked.
Then you lightly trial those kisses
To parts obviously kept unnamed.
A feeling inside of me keeps me
From jumping off into oblivion,
Two bodies entwining with ferverent passion,
Feverishly consuming with endless desire.
The passion arises; devouring;
As the sweet delicate song
Of pure bliss begins to sing its melody.
As we rock and conquer the terrific storm,
We cling to each other
As if we're rafts made of wood.
Then the ecstacy subsides,
Leaving us in a realm of silent peacefulness.
We listen to each others' stampeding heartbeats,
And the roaring of our breaths.
One says, "God, I love You!"
As the other caresses a tear.
The burning passion becomes
A smothered feeling of contentment.
The joy of having one another
The joy of knowing your soul mate
Is the eternal bliss from God Himself.
The Passion of Paradise
Lays betwixt us,
Here in our hearts forever...
