This is the third poem about "L.A. Confidential"
Glamour, wealth, success
Life is good in the City of Angels
It seems the sun and the stars
Will never lose their shine.

But even in the City of Angels
The brightest stars fade
And the most blessed of angels
Lose their wings.

Lurking in the shadows
While the innocent sleep
Is a dangerous passion
That eventually corrupts us all.
