The day you wake up and realize that even the good times aren't worth it.
So maybe I have lost my mind
But are you brave enough
To take responsibility?
Let's clear the air-
Don't tell me you love me,
Or that you're going to call,
Don't say that you care,
Or that you won't let me fall.
I don't expect much from you,
But the truth would be nice...
All I wanted was some honesty,
When you gave me you're advice.
And now you see what I've become,
But can you really say you care?
Give me reason to believe you,
Believe that you care
Because your time is running out
Here's your last chance
To sort out what you've said
Convince me it was worth it
To lie next to you in bed
Let's call it quits
Release the tension
Although it's hard to mention
Love is just a four letter word,
S-o-r-r-y, count 'em five,
Guilty, we're reaching six
But do we have the time to fix
The mistakes that did us wrong
The history that made me strong
I'll learn how to leave
If you choose to decieve
Because my heart will not grieve
No, not a second more
Two years I've been holding tight
It's time I run for the light
Take me hand, and you can follow
But I won't let you swallow
The life I've tried so hard to keep
Release the weight on your shoulders
Keep the anger inside
Let go of the mixed emotions
We'll devour like the tide
Forever, count 'em seven
But n-o-t-h-i-n-g counts the same
So what if I've lost my concious
You've lost yourself to shame
