Just how I was feeling one day
Harsh words

Silence broken

Hearts are in pain

From words that are spoken



Tears fall down

Reddened cheeks

And still more silence

No one speaks



A door opening

Breaks the quiet

Let him walkout

No need to fight it



Life now empty

A choice I have made

Better alone

Than to be afraid



Light will shine

On this sadden face

Bringing a new day

And a better place
