I've always been a bit of a vampire fan, poem written in English sonnet form
A roof top, I’ve wondered here alone
This night to be my last, my own life will I take
Her presence to me is yet unknown
I walk to edge, all that has been I’m about to forsake

“And what of love” she whispers in my ear
I turn about and stare into the eyes of death
“Will it be over quick” my voice belies my fear
Her lips caress my throat “It begins with your last breath”

I awake to my new eyes in disbelief
Every detail enhanced by the dark gift
Gone is my life ending grief
But the hunger comes upon me so swift

Find another whose thinking of ending it all
Like an angel of death I’ll save them the fall
