Hope: throwing a float to a drowning man
Leave it behind,
better days are waiting,
let them come and let them stay.
Trials do not challenge by mistake

Don't waste your days,
no one's out to get you
and your life is not a waste.
The chains that hold us back are in our brains

float down the stream,
what you need is peace boy
as you near the deep blue sea.
The flicker of the fire within reach.

Be not afraid,
these people cannot shake you
or judge in any way.
a true heart bleeds and shields away the shame.

Up from the shade,
the sun will rise tomorrow,
and the grass will be green.
You can smell the start of summer on the breeze.
