You Ask Me Why

You ask me why, I'll tell you:

I sit here barron, empty inside
All the time wondering, asking myself why
Things are never what they promise to be
How come these things happen to me?
These feelings are eating me up inside
But all the time hiding love I can't deny
And so I take this blade to numb my pain
A small blood loss is my minds gain
I made the cut, I see blood red
Help me take these worries out of my head
I want them no more, I want to be pure
This mental pain I can no longer endure
