They say learning to love yourself
Is the first step,
That you take when you want to be real.
Many of us will just take that for granted,
And walk through life in glee.

But now I know, it’s not so far
To where I go, I admit it’s hard.
But the hardest part is still stuck inside
And I don’t know what I believe.

When I'm searching for truth,
I just look in the mirror,
And make sense of what I can see.
Many times, I just close my eyes,
And pray that I will be free.

I promised not to give up,
But you pushed this too far.
You said we were wrong,
And I'll admit I am strong,
But that’s not the song,
I had in mind for me.

Now it’s done,
Just go on now.

I won’t frown.
