when love betrays.....hatred speaks throught each word.
Everywhere my eyes reach,
I see faces of fake love.
Every word so beautiful I feel,
Seems to become ugly lies.
How long shall I look at each,
And believe “he is meant for me”?
When each turn out to be,
Dreams of my desperate soul.
Every flower, so beautiful, I try to reach.
But when my finger touches it,
A pain so bad passes through my soul,
And a wound so deep is made in me.
As what I believed was a flower,
Has turned to be a poisonous thorn.
How beautiful are their glances of fake love,
How touching are the soothing lies they spit!
How amazing are the hopes and dreams they present?
And one fine morning,
They look into your eyes and say…
“I am sorry, but you can’t stay”.
How easy those words seem to them.
But hard do the words pierce,
Into this heart that only loves them.
Such fools are they to lose the love,
Which never ends, even, with death.
My heart whispers to them, the ultimate truth,
“Oh! The one who threw away the gift from God,
Where shall you run away,
With your hands soaked in blood of my wounded heart?
Where shall you wash away this sin so great?”
For all that was done to me, I pray…
“Oh my Lord, my Merciful God,
Upon the strength and depth of my true love,
Make each painful second I spend,
Make each tear I cry,
To fall upon them,
As curses so great,
From which, even their deaths,
Would not find them escape!”
