Caught up in the moment until it's too late- you have already sealed your own fate.
With a gun in my hand,
I pretend to be a man.
I’ll show you what’s up!
I drank from the devil’s cup!

I am a badass, that’s real!
I’ll show you how hate feels!
I might just be in high school,
but I’m not anyone’s fool!

My mom may still be in charge,
but I’ll soon be a murderer at large!
This day might change my life,
I may be doing twenty-five to life!

At least no one will mess with me,
I no longer have to fear any bully!
I’ll just laugh and wave my gun:
“Come on, let’s have some fun!”

Everyone will scream, run and hide.
Fall down, with a bullet in their side.
“Yeah, that’s right, I’m the man!
This is the ultimate, hardcore plan!”

My name won’t be forgotten,
even though I’ll be in jail, rottin’.
My family will still visit me!
It’s worth it to see you bleed!

My kid sister……oh, wait.
What will be her fate?
She’s just a kid, just turned two.
If I am gone, what will she do?

I can hear the police rollin’ in,
I can hear my heartbeat within.
That boy looks dead on the ground.
My gun is shaking, I threw it down.

‘What have I done? Lost in this moment?
God’s angels in blue he had sent.
I think I messed up, I’m goin’ down.
I’m a prince that fell, without his crown.

Too little too late, my mom will say.
I wasn’t the only one murdered today.
Two families will cry out in pain-
Over two young boys unnecessarily slain.
