When love dies, hope remains eternal
From a distance so far away that you do not see,
I watch you with loving eyes,
No matter how far away your image moves,
My eyes see you,

Involuntarily my hands reach for you,
Wanting to pull you back and keep you close,
As my eyes transport your image to my heart,

My heart flutters and aches to be near you,
Calling out your name silently, beckoning,
Even for one more moment,
But you have gone and left me with such emptiness,

My heart crumbles and caves in to this pain,
As my mind softly speaks,
Telling my heart to be still,

Listen quietly, and you will hear,
The echoes of love floating in the air,
Time has captured you for me,
Transporting us to a place where time does not change,
Love does not die.

Here happiness surrounds our echo’s and paints them brightly,
Never to fade,
Becoming so vivid that perhaps one day,
If my heart calls just a little louder,

Your heart will answer and bring our echoes to life,
And we will once again live together,
In happiness and love,
That time has healed and saved,
For our eternity,

Always together and knowing,
If we somehow part, that our echo’s quietly wait,
In a land of love and splendor,

Until time brings us back together
In Love’s bright glory.
I am here waiting for you.
