Memories, A Fine Thing

a fine thing
to walk down memory lane
to laugh
and to cry
and to feel no shame

a fine thing
to see a friend cry
because you know it was your smile
that made their tears dry

a fine thing
to go down memory lane
just forget the memories
that bring you pain

a fine thing
to be happy and glad
for no good memories are made
if you are frowning and sad.
