It may not be well written bt the emotion behind it is stronger thn any other of my poems.
I reach out,
to be hit away again.

I reach out,
to be hit away again.

As long as I remember,
that's the way it was,
and there was no one and nothing,
to wipe away the tears,
that stained my soul like pearls,
As I reach out,
to be hit away again.

As long as I remember,
that's the way it was,
my heart was always aching,
longing for her love, for her to
hold me as her daughter, just once,
As I reach out,
to be hit away again.

Slap.
Cold, painful, indifference,
still silence holds my tongue.
Crack.
Forced, heartless, solitude,
my dreams have been undone.
Whack.
Eternal, desperation,
killed souls of all those young.

The innocence of childhood,
will soon be leaving me,
but still I will reach out,
and if I'm hit away again,
as I know that I will be,
I'll try once more, because
As long as I remember,
that's the way it was.

I reach out,
to be hit away again.

I reach out,
to be hit away again.
