A rhyming story. A mother on drugs.
One last dose and she hits the floor.

Her body is done, her mind begs for more.

A useless soul, lost in her dreams.

A mangled cry for help, disheveled in her screams.

She started too soon, and now it's too late.

Her body is in ruins, the pain is too great.

Forty four years thoughtlessly devoted to herself;

She had forgotten her family, she threatened her health.

A motherless daughter sits in the mortuary hall.

Her mom wanted everything, but she couldn't have it all.
