I'm not normally a writer of religious works, but this is a Christian Poem that I wrote.
Who is this child of whom they speak, whom angels laud and wise men seek?
Whose blessed birth has been foretold, whose gifts received are Myrrh and Gold?

Who is this child and what says he, and how does it apply to me?
Who is this man who raises dead, whose crown of thorns is covered red?
Who on the cross does "Eli" cry? It seems his death is drawing nigh.

Who is this man entombed they seek? "He is not here," the angels speak.
Who is this man who conquered all atoning man both great and small?

Hear his name ye young and old, Jesus who is Christ the Lord!
In this time of earthly care, listen you can find him there.
Hear him call, Come follow me, choose this day just whom you’ll be.

Follow him, start here and now, and he will get you there somehow.
With him to live eternally, “Come,” he calls, just “follow me.”
