Wen u look out ur window, what do you see? Wen u look out ur window, Where are you taken?
Ignorant, I watch,
and see drops of life spatter,
on transparent panes and concrete slabs,
like blood on bone they lie,
awaiting warm rays to return them,
the discarded gifts from heaven.
Yet other gems are destined,
to meet earth instead of stone,
where plentiful beads turn to traffic,
flowing down rough-cut roads,
searching for a rich salt,
which waits on the tongue at all ends,
to contaminate their flesh,
and render them our poison.

Still preordained purification,
will meet them on their journey,
to draw them up and package them,
in cold, white, deathly chains.
Till blessed greyness coats these geodes,
and their movement is indecisive,
as they role above our world,
bringing flickering shadows of hope,
to those on barren lands of ash,
dried by deaths fires.

Here the cries of innocence echo,
penetrating the hearts of all who Will hear.
Tears fall in parents' desperation,
to quench the thirst of youth,
but still a salty poison rules,
even over pearls of love.
And so they stand. And they watch the sky helplessly,
praying that the air which feeds them,
will this time be merciful,
for the children who reach out,
with hope's hands for the dark parcels above,
whispering, willing wind to move them "this way",
As grave realisation dawns,
And they know, that nothing's changed.

Again it will not come, not this time.
