A little poem about writers block I wrote while bored.
Thoughts are torn
The mind is tangled
The muse is gone
Imagination mangled

The pen is dry
The hand is still
A condition unbeaten
By force or will

Dreams are stalled
All fancy grounded
Lagging inspiration
By chaos surrounded

Frustration mounts
Impatience builds
A demon thrives
In writers' guilds

Words caught up
In stillborn notions
Ideas struggle
With hopeless motions

Editors hassle
Publishers plead
Authors beg
And no one reads

The pencil taps
The clock tick tocks
A storyteller's woe
Is writer's block
