Weary


Easing into space without regard
For grace, enlists itself
Carrying its burden,
Each step wavering,
Strong, weak, broken.
A confused palm of hope
Reaches 'round the banister
Steadying fears, as tolerance
Knows no shame
And escorts through the door
Once again.
