6of16 of a poem series I wrote in the perspective of a friend who committed suicide
My light has gone and left me here
her scent no longer lingers
and this creates my greatest fear
of obeying Death's beckoning fingers.

I know not why she left me here
to rot in my despair
a hunter must have grabbed her ear
and lies he did declare.

I know not why I so much care
to receive all of her love.
Maybe fate says I can't bear
her beauty form above.
Why is fate against me so?
That is what last I wish to know.
