2of16 of a poem series I wrote in the perspective of a friend that committed suicide
I have found you, Beauty Divine
all that is left is to make you mine.
Flesh as soft as infant skin
makes my blood boil in veins within
as if an infection were in me
but it is not but my love for thee.

Your eyes the purest shade of jade
the most beautiful that God has made
and whenever they upon me look
they seem to read me like a book.
Always on your face the sun doth beam
making me think that this is a dream

from which I wish to never wake.
A glimpse of the real I'd never take
for if you were not really there,
my life would plunge into despair.
You come as a blessing to me
coming from what God there be.
I beg you do not turn away
for you in this life I may just stay.
