This is a poem I wrote, want feedback
What people say is a bad example of what
they think, I have a hard time believing
that what I hear is the same as I see in
the eyes of people worth looking at. Trust
is a rare thing these days, hard to see,
when my own eyes betray my words and
everyone is suspected of such crimes
against themselves and the ones they love.
A cycle that only ends when death brings us
thought and time, the need to impress fades
and regret for trying sets in. Regret that
lasts, an eternity of anger, a neverending
lifetime of truth, hell for the shallow.
