This is a poem I wrote a few years ago about a dreamgirl that I just now met. Weird, huh?
I awoke to the sound of thunder, just as I went to sleep to the rain;
In the back of my mind was a memory, a hidden face without a name;
But the face was far too vague, and I couldn't recollect it would seem,
but even if I could remember it, I knew it was still a dream.
All I could remember was a black rose she placed by my side,
and a little note which read, and I quote,
"I will love you til the end of time."
I cannot wait til tomorrow evening,
when to the land of dreams I go;
Where there I hope to find her
and her name I hope to know...
