today's choices, yield tomorow's consequences
Mister took one look at me and my sister,
And told us both to scat.
He wanted to steal a kiss from my mama,
And thought that would be the end of that.
Mama stood to her feet, shook her finger and said,
"Speak gently to my kids."
Mister man winked his eye, then gave a grin so sly,
Now we can't tell nobody but God what he did.
Mister took one look at me and my sister,
And told us both to scat.
Oh how I wish my mama, would have saved the drama,
And packed our bags, what few rags we had,
Surely that would have been the end of that!
