a mother's love for her son and the ability to let love happen.
She was only twenty and he was young
They had dreams and this wasn’t one of them
with their whole life ahead of them they wished
for something different
but life gave them that precious child
nine months had passed
and she lays there in the hospital bed
looking at her life in her arms
not knowing that her whole life was about to change
He turned one year and she says it was hard
but she never know that she could love someone so much
five years had passed and it’s his first day of school
he looks at daddy and says ill see you at practice
hugs his mommy goodbye and heads off into his class
Jake looks at rachel with a smile on his face
our little man has grown up and this is what has been sent to me
rachel crys and remembers that day she held her life in her arms
He is now sixteen and in high school
so many years had passed that they cant remember why
they cried the first time they found out
she looks at jake and says this is my dream
I want him to know that when i found out that I was pregnant
I was scared but I love him him with all of my heart
He is my life, my world, until the day I die
A few more years had passed and he is in college
he sits in his dorm looking through letters of his past
By now his parents had passed and he finds this one letter
and this is what it said: “Dear blake, If you are reading this then I have passed and dont worry Im okay so is your father, I just need to let you know that getting pregnant at a young age was the beat thing that has ever happend to me, You are above everyone else in my book, and this my dream get married, and have alot of kids. The most precious gift in life is when you get that child and hold him in your arms for the first time knowing that this is mine my child and no one else’s and be everything that you can be because lif eis short and so precious.”

Love your life giver
your mother
