A short poem about the current world-wide tensions.
I am walking in the shadows of giants
Their rotted corpses twitch beneath the earth,
As freedom's desecration is nearing completion.
I tilt my head and look to gray skies,
As ashes fall and melt on pallid cheeks.
What words can I say
While pretty liars riding the backs of the masses glitter and shine with glee,
Pocketbooks lined by the compact deaths of lizard kings.
I eat my crust of bread
Recall dreams of what was,
And what will be,
As I stand on the shoreline
Watch the ripple as it widens to the tidal wave
That will crush Lady Liberty's Israeli.
