Just a poem about some things that are wrong with the world today.
Ghostly screams elude on the darkest night
Like the sharpest blade piercing the silenced atmosphere
Poison guiltlessly pummels and disperses through innocent souls
Younger children are followers in a cult
Successfully imitating wretched acts like this
Adults fearfully flea to shelter
Restless creatures linger like ebony clouds on a stormy day
Unfazed by the insanity shamelessly created
Yet the world keeps spinning.

Monstrous demons skulk unseen like prevalent malefactors
Dissimilar conformations are misleading advertisements
Luring victims to an inescapable diabolism
Poverishing the most tenacious of bonds
More victims unwillingly diminish to this depravity
Minds become incognizant
Bodies fluently lose control
Fragile hearts are broken
Yet the world keeps spinning

Bundles of meaningless green flow like eternal rivers
Paper is the center of the universe
Lives are stolen
Righteous souls refashion to greed
Like a casualty succumbs to its wounds
Non-existent families grip forlorn hope without it
Hope filled with depression, dejection, desolation
While the rich chuckle at the forsaken
Yet the world keeps spinning.

When I sleep I can not dream
Nightmares plague the delicate mind
Like the most vigorous diseases destroy countries
Hopeless tears fall from my eyes
Lurid images congest my sights
Overtaking my senses
I still stand as the all-mighty symbol of love
Never to be broken
As the world keeps spinning.
