The split

i didnt know things would be like this
i never suspected you two would split
it tore me in two
i remember when i was young
i asked "mommy will you and daddy ever break up?"
you reaplied as i thought
no of course not
but look now
see how it is now
daddys moving across town
its been bad for a while now
no smiles only frowns
sadness and worry
you two didnt feel like parents
you wernt togeather
ever
so it wasnt a surprise
so why did i cry

But I miss the way it used to be
