a poem about the moon, a favorite subject of mine.
the Moon shines brightly
the sun never seen
and never, unkindly
on my skin it has been
the Moon kisses sweetly
my tender, white flesh
pale rays piercing keenly
and my eyes at their best
the Moon shines, radiant
my nocturnal nature unfolds
she does what the sun cant
and chases away the cold.
