This was for a school assignment. A depressing look at life through a singer's eyes.
My Song

I walk alone,
In the dark,
I cry alone.
No one’s there to comfort me,
I walk alone.

In Lala Land,
I spend my time.
It’s my own land,
Far away from sea or shore.
In Lala Land

Inside myself,
Away from all.
Beside myself
With grief and many tears.
Inside myself.

Outside my head,
Earth is dying.
Inside my head,
All is good and all is kind.
Outside my head.

I sing my song,
Though no one hears.
I live my song,
A sad solo of my life,
I sing my song.
