Wrote this when a friend tried to kill himself.
Rest, your troubles are gone.
No more nights, restless and long.

Self-hatred grew in your veins.
Shredding apart, with every day, stale gains.

Cause & effect; the first spreading,
Lead to the very ends of where you weren't heading.

Shut and locked every door.
Of this life you couldn't take any more.

Cause & effect; you did your best,
To pull me alongside you in silent rest.
