This is a poem written completely in haiku, I hope you like it.
Sitting in the rain
Trying desperately to hide
All her tears and pain.

She's tried other things.
All unsuccessful, of course
It first seems helpful,

But she knows better.
The lies that the world tells
Are not her problem.

In fact, it's her mind.
It makes her feel so alone,
Though she's with her friends.

She tries not to cry,
But this time it doesn't work.
She's held it inside

And the pain got worse.
Now she sits all by herself,
Not a friend in sight.

It would have been nice.
She should've just stayed at home,
But now it's too late.

But now she's running,
Not physically but inside;
Or maybe it's both.

Rising from her spot,
Soaked to the bone, wet and cold,
She makes up her mind

To leave her nice home.
Her bag is packed; at her side.
She's ready to leave

The hate and the lies.
If she knew how she'd be missed,
Maybe she would stay.

But she doesn't see
That her life could be happy
If she wished it so.

Now her back is turned
On the thing keeping her 'live:
Her family and friends.

She looks back and cried,
But she doesn't realize it,
She thinks it's more rain.
