thoughts in an uncertain time
Three walks

Technicolor imaginable thoughts.
Three dimensional emotional presets,
Providing a reason for the random acts of life
Providing amusement for the bleak.

Please oh please cast your glance on down to me.
Lift my spirit high within the light of your love.
Know dear my desire is true.
A most beautiful trophy you are in deed.
Placed high upon your pedestal, light up for all to see.

Lowly I am in this trodden dirt arena.
The world and myself as our audience.
We three gladiators pass in succession, a million miles apart, during preceding precessions.

Three walks from three walks.
You certainly have your pick my dear don’t you.
Look here and watch such brilliant display of color.
Does this presentation please thee?

All in all we compete for the right to hold one as our own.
Fighting against the current of this life,
To prove one’s worth.

A strange battle I’m sure.
Weaponry forged from words placed on paper,
Nuclear war shelters of distance traced with tear filled trenches.
Self inflicting wounds from thought, steal timed thoughts away in the night.

Funny thing is I don’t remember signing up for this fight.
What’s this proving or was there a point.
To win what wants that longs in lives loved.
When it comes to it I would of had to fight then too.
So if it must be a battle then let this begin.

Fiber optic feelings traveling through cyberspace,
Weaving the threads of hearts together as one.

How strong is this thread?
The connection was felt.
Might it start to unravel?
And leave me naked standing as stone.

Seems a battle is not the right word any more,
Gladiators we are not.
At least I am not.

What I bring to this fight I’ve lain down.
Laid upon this table for inspection,
Please do forgive this damn mess, I’m still under construction.

I’ll be open for viewing as long as you would like.
I can’t tell future tales of lives lived in time.
I just don’t know that much.
I think it could be whole.
And I think so……so much more.
