What to expect as we age
The Evolution of Dotter

My mom was an aunt
And I was her daughter,

'till I became mom
Giving her a granddaughter.

My daughter became mom
And I the grandmother.

Granddaughter became mom
Having borne a daughter.

Great grandmother survives
Becoming the dotter,

Evolution continues
My turn to become dotter

We continue to evolve-
Becoming dotter and dotter.
