As I sit here WISHING everything was alright...
I open my eyes and still feel the pain
from what I thought was a dream
But then reality hit, and the memory came back
the cries, the hurt, and then a scream.
A voice I didn't recognize from somewhere behind,
it took me a while to realize it was me.
The sound sending reverberations around
and the tears stinging so I couldn't see.
I fell to me knees and my heart broke
The pieces shattered recklessly around
Jagged glass with ruined memories
Wishing I could piece it back, maybe to be found.
I call out to you, as I'm broken on the floor.
Beggin for help; for sweet release
begging you to LOVE again
and accept me for me.
You see the need in my eyes
You see the pain I feel
Maybe you could take it away
or Maybe you WOULD make it real
I wish you would choose to end it
and let me leave this misery.
Letting me alone to die
Letting me be free.
