What is Christmas

WHAT IS CHRISTMAS
What is Christmas?
Is it the bells on the tree
or the gifts from you and me?
The holly and ivy
or the snowboard diving?
The falling snow?
The lights that glow?
What is it
a visit,
the food on the table,
or the fact that we're able
to know what Christmas is.
It's the travel of three men
all giving a gem
to one we all know
in a manger all aglow
with music and animals
and no valuables
in the hay all smooth
and the pigeon coo
a little boy
with no toy
asleep with a simple yet meaningful name of Jesus.
