Ode to Shakespear
I turn mine eyes to the glorious moon,
Awaiting the hour which you shall come.
I plead to the sky for it to be soon.
Oblivious to where you are from.
Oh, perfect stranger of the night.
I long to revel in your delight.

I know not who you truly are.
It matters not to my heart.
I wish upon the midnight star.
This love to you I shall impart.
Oh, perfect stranger of the night.
Your kiss, your heart, I invite.

I wanted to take a midnight stroll,
to see the moonlit garden.
Tis where I met you upon the knoll.
Close to yon Forest of Arden.
Oh, perfect stranger of the night.
T'was love upon mine eyes first sight.

I wait for thee at this magic hour,
to see your face once more.
I wait within these walls of flower,
to visit the one I adore.
Oh, perfect stranger of the night.
My dream under the moon's white light.
