Poem about my personal struggle with my family and friends.
Annymous in a crowd,
Surrounded by friends I remain faceless
In the company of family my voice falls on muted ears
Lost in the tide of life
I remain a victim to the ebb and flow of others emotions
Never able to tread long enough to gasp for air,
Instead I sink solemly to the dark bottom
No more alone that when I was afloat
The darkness here is absolute
I feel only anguish in my solitude
I fear this pain will never pass
