A poem about dealing with the obstacles life chooses to throw at all of us daily.
Grit your teeth when it all goes wrong
You have to learn to sing this song
To stand and smile in the pouring rain
When all the blue in your sky has gone

Hold your breath and dive in deep
Enjoy the crystal tears you weep
Learn your lessons, learn the way
Learn to strive for better days
Know that your heart is yours to keep

Head up high and shoulders square
Feel the weight of the world you bare
Laugh 'til you cry, then cry with joy
Learn from life and have a care

Wait to see what's round each turn
Warm to the heat of each bridge you burn
Learn to shield your fragile heart
From a world that's tearing you apart

Don't give up and don't back down
Don't lose the smile or hide the frown
Take the flak and keep your nerve
Learn from all the pain life serves
For what we see can only be
What this life IS - a learning curve
